“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”

What a way to welcome 2021!

Another Successful Elite Admin Intensive for us. What I know for sure is that I love when another admin takes the success of their career into their own hands, especially those currently in the Virtual Assistant (VA) Industry who provide administrative support. You are either great at what you do with the value you bring to an organization or create more work for the small business owner who is yet again looking for someone to successfully delegate to because the (VA)didn’t have the experience they needed when hired. Some of these stories were from my closest friends and they broke my heart. I got into the VA industry because I wanted to make a difference in my life and that of the small business owner. I learned more about the anxiety of hiring an VA who provided support because it was a career path people where just “jumping” into with little or no experience.

Although I had a professional career as an Executive Assistant of fortune 500 companies there was hesitation of bringing me on because they were “burned” before. Something that I don’t take lightly, especially because it was my career in Corporate America prior to me hiring myself. I felt like I had to do something not just for the business owner, but for the admin. If I could just get time with the admin to empower them to give themselves permission to be great I can change they way Virtual and or career executive assistants are viewed. There is Power in the position of an Executive Assistant. I lived it for 20+ years. I knew I could shorten their learning curve and make them be the indispensable Executive Assistant their client or direct report needed them to be so I started offering The Elite Admin training intensive; a tailored administrative professional development service with the admin who wants to takt their career to the next level and a customized training with the direct report/small business owner, in mind.

I’ve worked with the Army intelligence to help the career of their Executive Assistant. Bureau of Land Management brought me on to train their new admin, not to mention I work with the Branch Chief and their top executives to learn and create work/life balance for the organization as a whole. They worked and delegated like never before and made it home to their family for dinner.

But, for me, there is nothing like an admin who takes initiative in their career who can identify where they are professionally, what they lack, and the direction they’d like to reposition themselves into.

There is so much in the 4 hours that we unpack. I get personal, dig deep into who they are, meet them where they are so that they can help others stand at the forefront of their business, and hold them accountable. It’s always in the follow up. 30 days from now, I will hear of the great things or learn about their pivots. Most of all I will be able to hear their confidence rise to the occasion because of the tools I provided.

This evening’s intensive ran over a little because I wanted to answer all of her questions so that she could step into the new year with her head held high with her new and old clients. She said that no matter who she invested in, she always knew I was her answer and I did not disappoint.

Timing is everything. When we remove doubt and no longer in fear to succeed, everything else will align. “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” If you would like to learn more about my Elite Admin Intensives visit www.cynassists.com
